Sarah loves this 'quirky, diverse and gritty' place and is concerned about the climate crisis

Sarah Thomson (pictured in her days with WaterAid) was suggested as a great subject for an interviewee for Climate Conversations - and that was exactly the case.

However, our chat wasn't only about the climate, for Sarah is one of those "everywhere" people - she is the Chief Financial Officer with the Shepparton-based Goulburn Valley Water; she is a board member with the Committee for Greater Shepparton; and, has played a key role in the creation of a body aimed at allowing people to have a greater say in the governance of the Federal Seat of Nicolls, "Voices for Nicholls".

Sarah is a graduate of the Williamson Community Leadership Program, a chartered accountant with degrees in economics, Asian studies, commerce and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Sarah and her partner Bec, and their two Staffies, moved to Shepparton four years ago and they absolutely love living in what they see as a "quirky, diverse and gritty" part of the world. They are never going back to the city.

Enjoy "Music for a Warming World".
