Quick Climate Links: Dr Chiara Holgate helps us understand the 'rivers in the sky'

Dr Chiara Holgate (pictured) is a Hydroclimatologist at the Australian National University, ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes and was interviewed today, March 13, on the ABC's Sunday Extra by Julian Morrow - "Why is the rain so relentless?".

A second event featuring Dr Holgate was also on the ABC and this time it was the podcast ABC News Daily - "Making sense of the endless rain".

Australia's "Climate Council" recently conducted a webinar to help people better understand the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report and have just released a recording of the event - "Special Briefing: What you need to know about the latest IPCC Report (Webinar)".

Read here about the challenges facing Scott Morrison - "The cabinet minister organising against Morrison" and listen to "Is Scott Morrison about to be toppled".
