Interview: Martin Tye says the answers to all our troubles can be found in the steady-state economy

Martin Tye (pictured) is doing all he can to see Australians embrace the idea of a steady-state economy and he leads the Regional Communities Chapter of the U.S-based "Centre for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy".

The idea of an economy focussed on the General Domestic Product (GDP) is, in Martin's view, contrary to improving the quality of life for all and restoring Earth's damaged ecosystems.

He is convinced answers to those challenges can be found through the application of a steady-state economy.
