Jane Morton (pictured) was one of the Extinction Rebellion protestors who went to Canberra to make some noise about the new Federal Budget and have their presence noticed.

Along with several other XR protestors, Jane chained herself to the ministerial car compound disrupting the use of the commonwealth cars and forcing politicians into using common taxis to travel to Parliament House.

Courtesy of Jane, Climate Conversations was fortunate to catch up with Violet Coco just hours after she had been released after seven days in jail as a result of her protesting with XR.

Lesley Mosbey was in the Canberra prison with Violet and together they staged a Facebook event just outside the jail. Lesley was released on her 59th birthday.
