Climate activist throws her hat in the ring for the City of Parramatta

Angelica Kross (pictured) is training to be a secondary school teacher, she is urgently concerned about the climate crisis and so is taking her activism to the next level, and the 25-year-old is seeking election to Sydney's Parramatta City Council.

Angelica has no experience in such institutions as Local Government councils but sees them as the primary place to impact the climate crisis bringing together the community, the diverse Western Sydney community, and the law-makers who can make the systemic changes she believes are needed to head off the worst of the climate crisis.

The trainee secondary school teacher, who was once a postie, has the podcast, "Half Measures and Hope".
