Paulina Valdes

Paulina Valdes is a civil industrial engineer with a diploma in environmental engineering. She also holds a certificate in business sustainability management awarded by the University of Cambridge. She started her professional career using information technology and people’s skills to support the financial management of a Chilean lithium and fertilizers mining company.

After a career break to travel around the world, Paulina has volunteered in Australia for a number of not-for-profit organizations including Environment Victoria, the Australian Conservation Foundation, Good on You (Ethical Consumers Australia), Market Forces, and the Carbon Market Institute.

Currently, she is studying an interdisciplinary master of environment at the University of Melbourne to help her understand why we haven’t solve yet climate change despite that we’ve known about it for more than hundred years.
