Guy Abrahams is Co-founder, former CEO, and current Board Member of CLIMARTE and Director of the Art+Environment consultancy. Guy was a lawyer prior to becoming Director of Christine Abrahams Gallery, one of Australia’s leading contemporary art galleries, a position he held for 22 years. He has held numerous arts positions including President of the Australian Commercial Galleries Association, and Board member of the Melbourne Art Fair and the National Gallery of Victoria Art Foundation. In 2009 Guy received training on climate change communication from US Vice President Al Gore and also completed a Master of Environment at the University of Melbourne. He currently sits on the City of Melbourne Art and Heritage Collection Advisory Panel and Public Art Advisory Panel. Guy is an Associate of the University of Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute and a valuer for the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.
