Anthony James is a fifth generation Australian man living with his family by the ocean in the city of Perth, on traditional Noongar lands. He is an award-winning facilitator and educator, widely published writer, Honorary Research Associate at the University of Western Australia, and creator of The RegenNarration podcast.
The RegenNarration podcast features conversations with high profile and grass-roots leaders around the world, informing and inspiring the regeneration of life on this planet. They’re sharing their stories. And changing the story. Along with the systems we create in their mould.
Since creating the podcast in 2017, initially as Rescope Radio, Anthony has hosted conversations with global figures like Kate Raworth, Katherine Trebeck, Paul Hawken and Richard Heinberg, high profile creators like Tim Winton and Damon Gameau, leaders in regenerative agriculture like Charles Massy, Moira Lanzarin, and Dave and Frances from Wooleen Station, and a range of community leaders you may otherwise have never heard of, but you’ll be glad you did.
Anthony has been shaped by defining experiences with Indigenous communities in Australia and Central America (winning a Prime Ministerial Award for service to the international community). Along with a cherished time teaching and collaborating with pioneering systems thinker and Australia’s Inaugural Environmental Educator of the Year, the late Professor Frank Fisher.
He continues to feature in a range of media nationally and internationally, and is a regular speaker at universities, events and organisations. His writing has appeared in publications locally and overseas, including The Conversation, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, WA Today, ABC Online, World Economic Forum, Eco-Business, EconoTimes, Business Standard, Resilience, The Epoch Times, Energy Post, and The Footy Almanac.
